XIV International Accounting Symposium
The XIV edition of the International Summer School will be held in Madrid the week of the 25th of June of 2018 and will have sessions by distinguished guest speakers Sudipta Basu, Chris Chapman, Hans B. Christensen, Gilles Hilary, Bill Rees, Matthias Mahlendorf and Stephen Zeff. In addition, we will host a Colloquium on Skills for the Job Market by Susan Hancock to orient early stage researchers.
Early stage researchers are invited to submit their own research for presentation at the Symposium, as we will hold two sessions dedicated to presenting both developing and developed projects and papers. It is expected that guest speakers will attend this session and provide feedback to participants.
The symposium is free of charge. It is possible to attend only some of the sessions, although we encourage participants to attend for the full week. There is also a limited number of grants available for travelling and accommodation expenses for PhD students and young faculty. These should be requested when filling out the application form.
