Dear researchers,We are pleased to announce the fifteenth edition of the Research Forum on Challenges in Management Accounting and Control Dr. Vicente Ripoll, which will take place on June 12-13, 2025, at the University of Extremadura, Badajoz, Spain. This forum has established itself as an academic and professional meeting point for analyzing and discussing current and future challenges in management accounting.
Likewise, it aims to be a meeting point in which young PhD and PhD students can interact and present their studies and projects. The Research Forum will combine sessions in which researchers will present their papers with sessions of conferences of prestigious researchers.
Registration will only be confirmed and closed, once payment of the registration fee has been made.Please, forward this email to anyone you think might be interested, especially to PhD students.
Topics of Interest
We invite the submission of original and unpublished papers related to, but not limited to, the following topics:
- Applications of management accounting in specific sectors (healthcare, public, industrial, etc.).
- Big Data and its application in management control.
- Cost accounting and financial analysis.
- Digital transformation and emerging technologies in management accounting.
- Ethical challenges in management accounting.
- Innovations in management accounting and their impact on decision-making.
- Performance control and evaluation systems.
- Strategic accounting and business sustainability.
- The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Accounting and Management Control.
Key Dates
- Submission of abstract proposals: Until April 10, 2025.
- Notification of acceptance: April 30, 2025.
- Registration opening: April 10, 2025.
- Final registration: Until May 31, 2025.
- Forum date: June 12-13, 2025.
Submission Guidelines
Interested participants must submit an abstract of their work (between 1000 and 2,000 words) via the form available on the event website. The abstract should include:
- Title of the paper.
- Name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s).
- Research objective.
- Methodology used.
- Main expected results or contributions.
All papers will undergo a peer review process.
